This subs wiki is guilty of this as well, but at least they say so upfront. Every aoe guide I've been able to find either assumes you already know how to play the game (which isn't very helpful for a beginners guide), or just has a guy narrating his gameplay without really explaining the what and why of everything they're doing. I'm trying to learn how to play (more than just the controls) so that I can actually play with my friends instead of sitting on my thumb for 5 minutes and then getting rushed down or sending in my whole army to die to like 3 of their guys. Just bought AOE3 in the steam sale on my friends' requests.
